After we designed the primers for most significant catabolic and anabolic enzymes within polyamines metabolism, the girl team within MYCOCLIMART project has started the gene expression analysis.
The team comprised from phytopathologist, molecular biologist and microbiologist, started with RNAs extraction by using extraction kits procured by the project. Extracted RNAs were firstly normalized and then exposed to reverse transcriptase to get cDNA for further gene expression analysis.
Although the analysis was highly mentally and physically demanding, and the laboratory was completely sterilized before work, the working atmosphere was warm and exciting, the team had a great time working together and here are some shots from that day.
